Puez-Geisler Nature Park

Bordering Val Gardena to the north, Puez-Odle Nature Park is one of South Tyrol's eight protected nature parks. Situated at an average altitude of 2,500 metres, it showcases the full variety of the Dolomites' distinctive rock formations and geological layers, making it a fascinating destination for hikers and nature lovers alike. One of the region's most iconic viewpoints is Seceda, famous for its dramatic ridgeline and breathtaking 360-degree views across the surrounding valleys. For a more relaxed outing, the family-friendly trail through Vallunga winds through beautiful alpine meadows framed by towering limestone cliffs.

Alpe di Siusi

Just south of Val Gardena and only a few minutes away by cable car, Alpe di Siusi is Europe's largest high-alpine meadow, covering an impressive 56 km². Rolling mountain pastures stretch towards the striking peaks of Sciliar, Sassolungo and Sasso Piatto, creating one of the Dolomites' most spectacular landscapes. Between them lies an extensive network of hiking trails and more than 50 welcoming mountain huts, ranging from traditional alpine refuges to stylish mountain restaurants. Whether you're looking for an easy family walk or a challenging alpine hike, Alpe di Siusi offers unforgettable experiences for every level of hiker.
