Sellaronda
The Sellaronda is undoubtedly the most iconic cycling route in Val Gardena. This spectacular panoramic circuit around the Sella Massif can be enjoyed either as a legendary road cycling tour or as a challenging mountain bike adventure. The route crosses the four famous Dolomite passes – Passo Gardena, Passo Sella, Passo Campolongo and Passo Pordoi – covering nearly 2,000 metres of elevation over approximately 4 to 6 hours. Twice a year, during the Sellaronda Bike Day, the roads are closed to motorised traffic, allowing cyclists to enjoy this unforgettable route in a unique atmosphere alongside thousands of fellow riders.
HERO Dolomites
One of the world's most prestigious mountain bike events, the HERO Dolomites attracts both amateur and professional riders to Val Gardena every year. Participants can choose from three demanding courses ranging from 60 to 86 kilometres with up to 4,500 metres of elevation gain. More than just a race, the event also features children's competitions, live entertainment, after-race celebrations and gourmet experiences, making it an unforgettable weekend for riders and spectators alike.
